On April 24, 2013, the All Star Team took the test to become Specialized Orthodontic Assistants (SOA) through the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). The time allowed for the test was 3 hours, and everyone passed with flying colors! Following a short break, we went into training to renew our CPR certification; what an intense morning!
Dr. J was great, however, and rewarded his team with a wonderful lunch. Many thanks to Judy (our first staff member to earn the specialized certification), who made certain we had a good breakfast of bagels and juice before taking the test. Following a number of months preparing and studying for this test, we are very relieved and excited to earn this prestigious recognition-the highest certification achievement currently available for staff.
