December 2012

Dear Parents and Patients,

At this special time of year, I would like to extend my warmest wishes for a wonderful Holiday Season and may the New Year bring peace, good health and happiness. As I reflect on another passing year, I count among my blessings your choice of my practice for the orthodontic needs of your family. The confidence and trust you have extended is greatly appreciated; serving you is a pleasure and I look forward to a promising new year.

Time has a way of passing quickly, and in 2013, I will celebrate a milestone of 30 years practicing the specialty of orthodontics. Some years ago, I made a decision to close the office between Christmas and New Year’s. Often, we get so busy, we neglect to take time to show our loved ones how much WE CARE. Time away from the office provides an opportunity to nurture relationships near and dear. I have found everyone returns in January refreshed, and ready to accept the opportunities and challenges a new year brings.

Our goals for 2013 will focus on continuing education. The staff is fulfilling requirements for becoming certified as a “Specialized Orthodontic Assistant (SOA).” The certification and qualification process and examination is very rigorous, and is sponsored and approved by the American Association of Orthodontists. I am proud to announce Judy is the first member of our team to be recognized as an “SOA.” In February, my staff and I will travel to Florida to attend the Damon Forum where we will learn about the latest research and development available to the Damon technology, which has been my standard of care since 2000. As you can see, 30 years of practicing orthodontics is not a license for retirement!

Warmest wishes,

Dr. Thomas Jusino
